Beer and brewing are an important part of the Outaouais region’s history. Find out all about it with a stroll along Brewery Creek (no joke) and a visit to a century-old former brewery that’s now home to Les Brasseurs du Temps microbrewery and brewing heritage museum. After touring the museum, have a seat in the pub and sample a few craft beers, all brewed on site using the finest ingredients. Not far away on Île-de-Hull is the Gainsbourg bistro and microbrewery, a relaxed gastropub offering house-brewed craft beer and a great selection of microbrews on tap and in bottles from throughout Quebec. Gainsbourg beers are also available at the venerable Chelsea Pub, just outside Gatineau Park. A little farther east is Les Brasseurs de Montebello, known for its quality beers and outstanding service. The Outaouais: so many beers to try, so little time!
