Wesli is a troubadour whose groove machine merges with afrobeat, world music, reggae and rara Haitian music. Multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, he is coming back with two albums. Alain Brunet from the newspaper La Presse calls him “The most wonderful creature currently offered by Montreal to the rest of the world.” Committed artist, Wesli manages to talk about dark subjects important to him, such as showing misery that persists in emerging countries, while composing a festive, original and catchy musical universe that keeps conquering crowds across the oceans.
