Canadian Mogul Championships
On March 12 and 13, Camp Fortune hosts the 40th annual WIN Canadian Senior Nationals Mogul Championships. World Cup champions and Olympic athletes will take part in single-mogul and dual-mogul competitions on the Heggtveit run. Competitors include Justine and Chloë Dufour-Lapointe,Mikaël Kingsbury, and many other outstanding athletes. Spectators are welcome, and there will be autograph sessions with the athletes both days from 3:45 to 4:15 p.m. in the Outaouais Tourism tent.
Hot times at the Casino du Lac-Leamy
Until April 10, Quebec’s traditional sugar shack ambiance meets the exotic tropics at the Casino du Lac-Leamy,as part of a special Feel the Heat activity program. Interactive dance games, live entertainment, palm trees, traditional woven sashes, mixology workshops, Brazilian poutine, and Copacabanashak cocktails and brunch—it’s a great way to warm up in the Outaouais!
Join the Francofête
From March 9 to 20, it’s Francofête time in Gatineau, with live shows, visual art exhibitions, theatre and “lunch and learn” activities happening all around the city.
