SOUNDS OF THE FALL AT MACKENZIE KING ESTATE

On October 1, 2016, Fall Rhapsody will be launched at the Mackenzie King Estate with Sounds of the Fall. Organized by the Association des auteurs et auteures de l’Outaouais, the event will feature authors from the region who will read poetry, stories and excerpts from literary works, in both languages. Musicians from the Orchestre symphonique de Gatineau (OSG) will also perform. Featuring - 12:30 pm: Violin and cello duet recital presented by the OSG - 12:30 pm: Bilingual tales and stories for children by André Poulin - 01:30 pm: Violin and cello duet recital presented by the OSG - 0:002 pm: Poetry reading and excerpts from literary works, some by the Association’s authors, by Madeleine Stratford and Guy Jean - 03:30 pm: Closing violin and cello duet recital presented by the OSG Take the opportunity to enjoy a walk in the gardens, around the ruins and along the trails; visit the cottages (museums); or have a picnic. The Tearoom will be open from 11 am to 5 pm.
