It’s the week of Halloween, a special time of year for kids! Make it even more fun by planning some family activities. Here are our suggestions for three kid-friendly things to do this week in the Outaouais region:

Celebrate Halloween in the Outaouais

To get you started, we’ve come up with a list of Halloween activities for young and old. With so many options to choose from, there’s no excuse not to get into the “spirit” of things!

Join Bob the Builder™’s crew

For hours of family fun, join animation hero Bob the Builder™ in Sunflower Valley at the Canadian Children’s Museum in the Canadian Museum of History. Help Bob and his friends get the job done! Activities include colouring sheets, games, a construction-themed scavenger hunt, and lots more.

Canadian Championship Dog Race

On November 1 and 2, Timberland Tours will host the 5th annual Bristol Dryland Canadian Championship Dog Race. Hundreds of racers and dogs from around the world will flock to the small town of Bristol, Quebec, to compete in several events: scooter, canicross, bikejoring, and four‑, six‑, and eight‑dog rigs. The races are run on a sandy trail that winds through a pine forest, and spectators can observe from several lookout points, including the start and finish bleachers, a high rise stand, and an access path that cuts through the forest and crosses the race track at several points. On your marks, get set, go!
