Familiarization Tour, June 2009

Let me begin by thanking you for an amazing couple of days. I thought it was just a bit of time out of the office, and who wouldn’t like that, but you made the last few days super fun!

I had a wonderful time and never realized how beautiful the Outaouais region really is. 

I was so impressed with everyone’s  hospitality and the cleanliness of the accommodations.

Thank you as well for all the goodies we received! I certainly didn’t expect presents too...it was just like Christmas! This summer, I have every intention of making reservations for myself and my husband and will stay either at the Chateau Logue or the Auberge du Draveur. I also plan on checking their availabilities for our next Electricity Sector Council board meeting.

Familiarization Tour, May 2008

Allow me to take a moment to extend my gratitude for the warm welcome that we received during our stay on the familiarization tour that took place this weekend and to send out my sincerest thank you to the Outaouais Tourism team that did a wonderful job. You make a tremendous team and allowed us to take in the beauty of these exquisite sites located so close to us, but yet still unknown.

We came across some very warm-hearted people, unrivalled welcoming delegates and interesting places, not to mention the activities, the meals, the gifts and the transportation, which were all of the highest quality and made us feel very important. In fact, nothing was left to chance and it’s thanks to a seasoned team, such as yours, that we were able enjoy some unforgettable moments. Be assured that I will not hesitate to contact you with any question and/or to organize an event in the Outaouais if the desire, dates and budget permit. In the meantime, I hope you’ll share my warmest regards with your team and the various contributors with whom we met during the weekend.

Familiarization Tour, March 2008

I really loved Les Fougères.  I know our company, and possibly the event/meeting planning industry as a whole, is looking for more unique experiences at venues that capture local flavour.  Our company would be quick to book an event at this venue over a hotel restaurant because the experience would be truly unique and memorable.  I appreciated being shown a variety of types of establishments/hotels that fit different needs (team building, golf, conference) and budgets.  It was a great time saver to see such a variety in one weekend and in one region.

Quebec Air Transport Association (AQTA)

Convention

The 19th, 20th and 21st of March 2008, the Quebec Air Transport Association (AQTA) held their 32nd annual convention at the Lac-Leamy Hilton. It was the first time this event took place in the region and it turned out to be a memorable one. The beauty of the site, the service and the exceptional quality of the rooms and the meals impressed all of the convention delegates.

Furthermore, Reservation Outaouais hosted the spousal activities and were much appreciated at locations such as National Gallery of Canada, Le Nordik – Nature Spa and the delicious St-Estèphe Restaurant.

All participants were unanimous in their comments regarding the excellence of our hosts, the Lac-Leamy Hilton and the Outaouais region. Thank you for your hospitality!
