Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing

In the Outaouais, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are a way of life. It’s hardly surprising, with so many trails so easy to get to! Gatineau Park, the region’s pride and joy, boasts one of North America’s largest cross-country trail networks, with 250 km of trails. Our national sport: drinking gourmet hot chocolate. Warming up in one of the park’s cozy shelters after an invigorating ski—now that’s happiness!
