As one of the Capital’s main event parks, Jacques-Cartier Park hosts national festivities such as Canada Day and Winterlude. It’s also home to the Maison du vélo and the Hull Marina. It borders the Ottawa River and offers spectacular views of the Ottawa skyline. Located across from the Maison du tourisme (tourist information office) and the Canadian Museum of History, it’s the ideal departure point for a downtown excursion. Jacques-Cartier Park is managed and protected by the National Capital Commission.
