Jacques-Cartier Park
Open all year round
It is one of the capital’s main parks and hosts Canada Day celebrations and Winterlude. It is also home to the Maison du vélo and the Hull Marina. Maison Charron features a terrace and bistro during the summer season. The park runs along the Ottawa River and offers spectacular views of downtown Ottawa. Located next to the Ottawa Tourism Centre and the Canadian Museum of History, it is the ideal starting point for a trip to downtown Gatineau. Jacques-Cartier Park is managed and protected by the National Capital Commission.
