Surrounded by maple trees shading the statue of the Angel Protector overlooking the Petite Nation, the museum houses hundreds of artifacts perpetuating the traditions of 19th-century pioneers. Joining the wooded trail and the mill lookout, a magnificent pedestrian bridge spans the river and leads to the Saint-André-Avellin historical circuit. A shed showcases the farming tools and machinery of ingenious pioneers, and the old-fashioned gazebo welcomes speakers and choirs on festival days. Open on request year-round.
