The Museum Quarter is an exceptional heritage site featuring 55 century-old buildings that reflect Hull's francophone history. Founded in 1806 by Philemon Wright, it underwent reconstructions after fires in 1888 and 1900. In the early 20th century, the francophone elite built beautiful residences here. Despite suffering losses in the 1970s, the opening of the Canadian Museum of History in 1989 revitalized the area. Today, it is known for its historical richness and restaurants.
