Where will you go this summer to wiggle your toes in the sand? The Outaouais and its 15,000 lakes are home to some beautiful beaches that are perfect for cooling off, kayaking or watching spectacular sunsets. To help you enjoy them, here’s a list of 10 beaches to discover in the Outaouais.
Gatineau Park beaches – Between wilderness and calm waters

Enjoy the unsupervised beach (with picnic tables) on the Ottawa River and the lake at the summit. Note: The trail is challenging in places and not recommended for young children.
La Pointe à David beach - a heavenly peninsula
