What’s On in the Outaouais from October 2 to 8
Autumn is well and truly here! This week’s activities include celebrating the harvest, admiring the fall foliage, picking your own Halloween pumpkin, and watching an outdoor movie on a heated patio!
This weekend, enjoy the fall colours in a delicious way! Meet agri-food producers from the Collines-de-l’Outaouais and the Vallée-de-la-Gatineau as you admire the thousand and one shades of fall.

An autumn day at Courges & cie
Did you know that less than 15 minutes from downtown Gatineau there’ s an agritourism farm where you can pick your own squash and pumpkins? Browse the on-site market to stock up on more than 150 varieties of squash and pumpkins and more than 50 kinds of tomatoes. Not to mention the bistro that serves wood-fired pizza, squash fries and poutine, homemade donuts and much more.

Movie night at Aux 4 Jeudis
Aux 4 Jeudis café/bar has decided to extend its 38th season of Cinéterrasse outdoor movie nights, to everyone’s delight! Every Wednesday in October, bring your blanket and slippers, take a seat on the largest heated patio in town, and settle in to watch classic Quebec films.

The patio is covered and heated. Screenings are reserved for viewers age 18+.
Visit to the Parc de la ferme Dalton
The Parc de la ferme Dalton is a true jewel in the heart of the city. Pack a picnic with local flavours to enjoy after a country walk. Among other things, you’ll find an old schoolhouse, a sugar shack, an orchard and large vegetable gardens. That said, the popular favourite remains the magnificent floral park.
