ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS
A walk in the woods
Going for a walk is always a great idea, but especially in springtime. At Plaisance Falls, enjoy a 100% natural show at the site’s official opening for the season. This is your chance to see the falls in all their majestic splendour. Bring your snowshoes—you never know, a few late snowbanks might still be lingering in the shade.

Adult: $6. Free for children under 12
In April, the site is open on Saturdays and Sundays. From May to the summer high season, it’s open Friday through Sunday, and over the summer holidays it’s open daily.
Who? Who sees an owl? Who?
Accompanied by an experienced birdwatcher, go in search of the night birds that live in Gatineau Park. In the Dusk Series, learn to imitate the hoots and calls of the owls you meet along the way. This Friends of Gatineau Park activity is suitable for people age 10 and older.
