Gatineau Auto Show
Car buffs, this is the event for you! From August 10 to 12, Des Cèdres Park will be transformed into a huge outdoor showroom for cars of all eras and styles. The weekend event also includes live entertainment and children’s activities.

Outaouais farmers’ markets
Visit a farmer’s market to meet local producers and stock up on fresh local produce and prepared foods made with love! Whether in Gatineau or Ripon, you’ll discover delicious products in a festive atmosphere.

St-Albert Curd Festival
It has many names, but everyone agrees it’s delicious: the FAMOUS curd cheese! The St-Albert Curd Festival celebrates “squeaky cheese” in style with a program of activities for the whole family, including lots of live shows and the traditional wine and cheese tasting.
150 St-Paul Street, St-Albert.
Wednesday, August 15 to Sunday, August 19.
Festival passport: $55. | Day pass: Adults $10, children (age 8 to 12) $5, children 7 and under free.
Free curds during all activities under the Big Top (except the wine and cheese tasting). Yum!
Les revenants du Petit Chicago
This ambulatory play tells how the former city of Hull got the nickname “Little Chicago,” and investigates the possible presence of Al Capone in the 1930s. During a mystery-filled walk through the streets of the downtown core, go back in time and meet a cast of colourful characters from days gone by!
Depart from the Centre culturel Jacques-Auger – 39 Leduc Street, Gatineau.
Wednesdays, August 15 & 22 at 7:30 and 9 p.m.
Adults : $15. | Students and children 6 and over: $10. | Children under 6: Free.
The play is 70 minutes long and will be performed indoors in case of rain. Warning: Some coarse language. Audience discretion is advised.
Armour exhibition – Canadian War Museum
The great defenders of this world all have something in common: their armour! The exhibition Armour features the protective uniforms that knights, superheroes, hockey players and soldiers have worn throughout the ages.
