Summer keeps rolling along in the Outaouais region! This week’s activities include a road trip, outdoor theatre, yoga, beer tasting and music.

Go on a road trip

How about going on a little road trip this weekend? With more than 270 km to cover and 90 attractions to visit, the Chemins d’eau (“waterways”) is an adventure waiting to happen! Here’s your pre-planned itinerary for discovering Chelsea and the Pontiac along the Outaouais’ first official tourist route.

Personnages de légende

Year after year, the touring show Personnages de légende (“legendary characters”) attracts an enthusiastic audience. This year marks a return to the golden age of radio theatre: the actors will bring legends to life using only their voices. Bring a lawn chair and a picnic and attend this free outdoor performance.

A winning combo: yoga and beer tasting

Here’s an interesting combination: yoga and beer! On Tuesday, August 11, you’re invited to join a yoga class in La Baie Park, followed by a beer tasting at the À la Dérive microbrewery.

Sunset paddleboarding

Every Monday in August at Meech Lake and every Wednesday in August at Leamy Lake, PaddleFit invites you to join them for a SUP yoga class on the water. They provide all the necessary equipment, and you can bring your own board (BYOB).

THE RBC BLUESFEST DRIVE-IN

This summer, the National Arts Centre and the RBC Bluesfest have joined forces to present a drive-in concert series at the Zibi Place des Festivals. Drive to the venue, park along the Kitchissippi (Ottawa River) and enjoy live concerts from the comfort of your car!
