What’s on in the Outaouais, August 14 to 20
It’s shaping up to be another fantastic week in the Outaouais! This week’s highlights include an urban drive-in, fireworks, an amusement park and more.
Urban Drive-In at Zibi
Drive-in movie nights in the heart of downtown Gatineau continue! This Friday and Saturday, enjoy classic films in the comfort of your vehicle. This weekend the spotlight is on Disney: the lineup includes Pirates of the Caribbean and two Avengers movies.

Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Gates open at 7:30 p.m., movies start at dusk.
$30/vehicle + applicable fees. | For every ticket sold, $2 will be donated to La Manne de l’Île food bank.

Illumination – Fireworks display
The largest display of summer fireworks in the country is taking place in the Outaouais! The Casino du Lac-Leamy Sound of Light and the Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival have joined forces to present a free show that will light up the sky over Gatineau.
A total of 8 city sites will be illuminated, and the soundtrack will be broadcast on 94.9 Rouge FM and on the web. In case of bad weather, the event will be postponed.

Stories and legends
The Ottawa River is rich in history! This Tuesday, August 18, come and make yourself comfortable at the Quai-des-Légendes as storyteller Sébastien Lemay shares tales and legends of the river, going back to the days of our ancestors.
Quai-des-Légendes, Jacques-Cartier Street
Tuesday, August 18 from 7 to 8 p.m.
Spectators will be asked to respect the 2-metre physical distancing requirement. Plan to arrive early, and bring a lawn chair.
Radio-Hull
Every Friday from August 19 to September 15, an ephemeral and interdisciplinary radio event will take place! The event is part of the Culture Trail, and each weekly episode will highlight local artistic practices.
