This week marks the return of some popular Outaouais activities. Enjoy shows of all kinds and paddle back in time in a voyageur canoe!
FMG – À partir de maintenant
The Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival (Festival de montgolfières de Gatineau, or FMG) will highlight local artists in the show À partir de maintenant, to be presented online on August 21. This unique conceptual show will feature emerging and established artists accompanied by some of Quebec’s finest musicians.
Since this is a virtual event, you can enjoy the show from the comfort of your living room.

Urban Drive-In at Zibi
The Urban Drive-In at Place des Festivals at Zibi continues! This Friday, August 21 and Saturday, August 22, you can watch cult films such as Kick-Ass and Ali in the comfort of your car; and on Thursday, August 27, you can laugh it up during an evening of comedy presented by the Gatineau Comedy Festival.

Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Gates open at 7:30 p.m., movies start at dusk.

The Culture Trail invites you to attend a night at the drive-in for a preview of the film Rustic Oracle, produced by Jason Brennan and directed by Sonia Bonspille, both residents of Gatineau. In English and Mohawk with French subtitles.
Northern Lights
The dazzling sound and light show Northern Lights, normally presented on Parliament Hill, has been transformed into a virtual event for summer 2020! Plan a viewing party and enjoy the show from your own home.

Rabaska Canada
Relive the nomadic experience of the Algonquin peoples and learn more about the Outaouais region’s rich culture during a one-hour excursion aboard a voyageur canoe (26 to 36 feet).

Les revenants du Petit Chicago
Performances of the beloved itinerant show Les revenants du Petit Chicago begin next Thursday, August 27! Colourful scenes and characters will take you on an investigation through the streets of Old Hull.
