In the Outaouais, the first week of December is all about holiday spirit! From the municipality of Chelsea to Parliament Hill by way of Old Aylmer and the Luskville sector, this week’s calendar is packed with activities and events that celebrate the magic of Christmas.

A Magical Christmas in Chelsea
This weekend, bundle up your little elves and point the sleigh to Chelsea to celebrate the holiday season. The program includes a craft market, themed breakfasts, a Christmas bazaar, an arts and crafts workshop, a Christmas tree lighting ceremony, and skating with elves. What more could you ask for?

Breakfast with Santa in Luskville
The municipality of Pontiac invites you to enjoy special moments with family and friends (of all ages) at this fun and informal breakfast. Pssst: If you want to, you can come have breakfast in your pyjamas!
Luskville Community Centre – 2024 Route 148, Luskville.
Saturday, December 1 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
Family (2 adults + children): $10 | Each additional adult: $3
You’re invited to bring non-perishable food items to the breakfast. Your donations will be handed over to the Luskville St-Vincent-de-Paul for their Christmas baskets.
Aylmer Santa Claus Parade
The Santa Claus Parade is one of Aylmer’s most beloved traditions. This year, 40 floats will cruise down Principale Street, to the delight of residents and visitors young and old. Amazement, excitement and rosy cheeks guaranteed!
Old Aylmer –Parade route starts at the corner of Front and Principale Streets and ends at Aylmer Memorial Park.

Awesome Sundays: Awesome Elves
Santa is worried: the elves have left their workshop at the North Pole, and now they’re hiding in the Canadian Museum of History. Will your kids find them in time? Be ready for some fun twists and turns, great entertainment, and a serious Christmas letter writing session!

Illumination ceremony, Christmas Lights Across Canada
Multimedia illumination ceremony, musical performances by Ariane Moffatt and Josée Bourgeois, pyrotechnics display, free sweet treats, and lots more await you next Wednesday on Parliament Hill.
