This week, there are more reasons than ever to go out and celebrate with family and friends in the Outaouais. Canada Day is coming up, the weather is great, the top names in comedy are coming to Gatineau, and two attractions invite you to cool off in the water!

Canada Day in the Capital

This year, three official sites welcome you to free activities to celebrate our beloved country’s birthday. Dance to the beat of such talented artists as Karim Ouellet, Mari-Mai, Chances, Corneille and DJ Shub. Enjoy a full weekend lineup of culinary, cultural and family activities, capped off by the ever-popular fireworks display on Monday at 10 p.m. Sounds like a good time!

Splashing around at Mont Cascades

This summer, delight your children (and your own inner child) by spending a day at the Mont Cascades Mountain Waterpark.
