This week, we’re going to relax at a spa, dance with a moose, go for a bike ride, laugh a lot, and, of course, celebrate Canada Day! This is the weekend to dress in red and white and join the festivities in Gatineau–Ottawa.

Nature Nocturne: #Canada151

This Friday, June 29, come celebrate #Canada151 at the Canadian Museum of Nature at the next in their popular Nature Nocturne series of themed evenings! Celebrate our country with the moose, the beaver and all things Canadian, and indulge in some of the iconic food and drink of our northern land.

Amerispa invites you to relax and unwind this Friday in their spa in Cantley, in the heart of the Laurentian forest! Thermal experience, BBQ, cocktails and a DJ are all lined up for a perfect Friday night.

Canada Day in the Capital

Gatineau-Ottawa takes on a festive air this weekend, with Canada Day celebrations at the 3 official sites of Canada Day in the Capital! On June 30 and July 1, join the party at the Canadian Museum of History, Major’s Hill Park and Parliament Hill. A variety of activities and shows will make for a dynamite weekend!

P.S. Admission to the Canadian Museum of History is free on July 1.

The Canada Agriculture and Food Museum and the Canada Aviation and Space Museum are also offering free family activities over the Canada Day weekend.
