What's on the Outaouais May 17-23

Published on May 14 2019

For many of us, it’s a long weekend. Are you celebrating Victoria Day, Journée des Patriotes or Dollard Day? Here in the Outaouais, we’re celebrating spring!

ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS

In Old Hull

Celebrate the end of term with the fine young people of the Outaouais. This is the time when Laval Street is closed to vehicular traffic and the street belongs to pedestrians and (especially) dancers. See three shows for the price of one. The price? Nada! Come and applaud local talent: Les 3 de Pick and Naked Dreams, two bands composed entirely of students from Cégep de l’Outaouais. They’ll set the stage for Alaclair Ensemble and their lively modern take on traditional Quebec folk music. It’s going to be epic.
