Christmas market season is officially open!
Now that the fall colours and Halloween are behind us, it’s time to get ready for the wonderful time of year when children’s eyes sparkle and trees light up. What better way to get into the holiday spirit than by visiting a Christmas market? Starting this coming weekend, the Outaouais offers dozens of opportunities to do your holiday shopping and discover local products.

2018 Ottawa Pet Expo
Animal lovers, this event is for you! This weekend, visit the largest exhibition centre in Eastern Ontario to learn all about your favourite breeds, talk to breeders, buy unique toys for your pets, and more. The event program includes entertainment, product displays and demonstrations.

Launches in Vieux-Hull
Le Troquet will host two launches this week: writer Mylène Viens will introduce her new novel, Pourquoi pas?, and the Gatineau-based company Child’s Clothing will unveil three new items from its 2018 winter clothing collection. While you’re in Vieux-Hull, why not make an evening of it at one of these bars?
