Aero Gatineau-Ottawa 2018

Once again, the Aero Gatineau-Ottawa Air Show promises to be breathtaking! In the morning, admire vintage aircraft from the First World War on static display; in the afternoon, look to the skies to watch the planes in action. Entertainment, interactive exhibits, food and drinks, and other surprises await you!

Gatineau-Ottawa Executive Airport — 1717 Arthur-Fecteau Street, Gatineau.

Saturday, September 15 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Cost

Adult: $30 | Youth (age 5–12): $15 | Family (2 adults + 2 youth): $65 | Free for children under 5, no ticket required.

Festival de la Bine

From September 14 to 16, cross the river to experience the famous Festival de la Bine de Plantagenet (Plantagenet Bean Festival)! Well-known artists such as Melissa Ouimet, La Chicane, Réal Béland and Jojo will be on hand to entertain young and old in a casual atmosphere where baked beans and maple syrup are front and centre. The weekend program includes tastings, giant ziplines, family entertainment and much more.

Opening of the Soirées Folkloriques series

This season’s first Soirée folklorique (Folk Night) takes place this Friday, presented by the Association québécoise des loisirs folkloriques de l’Outaouais! The evening includes square dancing workshops, traditional music, and a 50/50 draw.

Attache ta Tuque, ça parle au Diable

Ripon comes alive this weekend to present a truly memorable musical experience! The members of local band La Tuque Bleue will join forces with the group Le Diable à Cinq to celebrate La Tuque Bleue’s 25th birthday under a large marquee open to all. Take advantage of the opportunity to arrive early and pick up a few treasures at the Ripon Public Market. Fun and good times guaranteed!

2018 Terry Fox Run

The Terry Fox Run in Shawville is the perfect opportunity to support a great cause while participating in a sporting event with family or friends. Whether you prefer running, biking, in-line skating or walking, you’ll be welcome on the route, with distances of 1, 2, 5 or 10K.
