Writers Fete (Wakefield–La Pêche Writers Festival)

Celebrate the cultural diversity and originality of Canada’s minority-language writers at the Wakefield-La Pêche Writers Festival. Meet Francophone, Anglophone, and First Nations authors and authors from other cultures, and enjoy rich literary exchanges on topics as diverse as they are fascinating.

Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend

To the delight of amateur and professional runners, the Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend is back. Whether or not you’re registered for a race, join the crowd in downtown Ottawa to experience the frenzy of the event! All the runners agree that the spectators cheering them on along the course have a very positive impact on their results! So prepare your cheers and placards and make your way to one of the many cheering stations.

Nature Nocturne – Body and Mind

The Canadian Museum of Nature presents the next in its popular series of Nature Nocturne evenings, this one on the theme of “Body and Mind.” Dance to the beat of live DJs in a unique setting, and visit the museum’s fascinating displays, including the new exhibition Brain: The Inside Story.

Birdwatching in Duhamel

Lace up your hiking boots, grab your binoculars and camera, and make your way to Duhamel, where spring migration is at its peak. You’ll have an opportunity to observe many species of birds during this guided walk (approximately 4 hours).

Gatineau Brewfest
