Once traveled by First Nations peoples, explorers, and coureurs des bois, this trail carries a rich history. Today, it is one of the most beautiful routes in the region.
It offers spectacular views of Parliament Hill and the Canadian Museum of History. Take a break on one of the many benches, enjoy the view from the lookouts, and learn more from the interpretive panels.
Downtown must-sees
Continue your discovery of local heritage by exploring the walking tour called Le Quartier-du-Musée, one of the oldest neighborhoods on Hull Island. Designated a heritage site in 2018, it has 55 century-old buildings, 10 of which were built before 1888. Today, this neighborhood is a place where the past coexists with the present.
