WHERE TO RENT EQUIPMENT
You have to admit, it makes you want to go on an adventure. No equipment? No problem! Gatineau has several rental centres where you can pick up everything you need: paddleboards, kayaks, canoes, pedal boats, bicycles—you name it! Unless otherwise indicated, the outdoor centres are open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Stop by the Centre de plein air du Lac-Leamy, Lac-Beauchamp Park, the Relais plein air in Gatineau Park, or the Centre Nautique de la Lièvre, which even rents baby carrier bags for your daily outings! Did you know that Des Cèdres Park in the Aylmer sector has a brand new equipment rental centre? At the Robert Middlemiss Pavilion, you can rent kayaks, paddleboards, canoes, bikes and bike trailers. Ideal for watching the beautiful sunsets from the nearby beach!
Access to the sites and their parking lots is free, and several centres also offer free rentals to Accès Gatineau+ cardholders.
