The Ottawa Public Library (OPL) Bookmobile service provides a gateway to the library’s collections and services. Come on board to browse our books, movies, music and magazines for children, teens and adults and enjoy our free public Wi-Fi and Chromebooks. Please note that the bookmobile is wheelchair accessible. OPL’s Bookmobiles provide services and programs to the 20 per cent of Ottawa’s population that falls outside of the catchment area of the OPL’s 34 branches. The Ottawa Public Library (OPL) is the largest bilingual (English/French) public library system in North America, with 34 branches, both physical and virtual at BiblioOttawaLibrary.ca, mobile libraries and a vending machine library service.
