Open house on snowmobile trails

February 6 and 7 it’s an open house day on federated snowmobile trails across the province. The Quebec Federation of Snowmobile Clubs invites you to discover one of the largest networks in the world for free. In the Outaouais region, there’s so much to explore and discover, one day ride won’t be nearly enough! The region boasts more than 2,000 kilometres of carefully groomed trails winding among mountains, valleys, hills, woods and lakes. This winter, as you skim along between Gatineau and Maniwaki or Montebello and Fort-Coulonge, you’ll see all kinds of amazing things.

51 Rallye Perce-Neige Maniwaki

On Saturday, February 6, take the road of to Maniwaki to attend the 51st Rallye Perce-Neige. Go to one of the areas reserved for spectators to see hundreds of runners pass under your eyes. The Rallye Perce-Neige is the oldest among the Canadian championships and the first round of the Canadian Rally Championship. It includes three stages totaling 420 km. The majority of the special stages take place on gravel roads covered with snow and ice.

Land Rover Experience, unique in Canada

Did you know that the unique Land Rover driving school in Canada is located in the Outaouais region at the Fairmont Le Château Montebello? You definitely have to experience this at least once in your life! Comfortably seated behind the wheel of a Land Rover vehicle, you will venture into the reserve Kenauk Nature. Soon, you will find that NOTHING will stop you. The goal is not to go quickly because more you ride slowly, more you can enjoy the obstacles.
