A cycling adventure in the Pontiac
"If you enjoy the outdoors, you'll love the untamed beauty of the Pontiac. This tour includes several outdoor activities, from moderate to extreme!
Starting from Pine Lodge, a charming old-fashioned inn, take the PPJ Cycloparc, a 90-km bike path built on the former Pontiac Pacific Junction rail line. The trail is fairly flat, pleasant and suitable for all ages.
Next, pitch your tent at Horizon X rafting and get ready to shoot the Ottawa River rapids in the morning. If it's a full moon, you're in luck: you can try night rafting!
After your exciting day (and possibly night) on the river, head for Coulonge Falls Park, a spectacular site that's rich in history. Here, you can try several challenges: navigating an aerial obstacle course, ziplining high above the river canyon, and tackling the Via Ferrata, a combination of hiking and climbing across a rock face -- it's the only one in the region and one of only a few in Canada."
