Cycling in Gatineau

Gatineau is well known as a bike-friendly city. With 600 kilometres of recreational pathways in Canada's National Capital Region, cycling is a great way to discover the area and its many attractions. This suggested route is for two adults. Park your car at the Canadian Museum of History. After visiting the museum, wheel your bikes aboard Au feel de l'eau's Aqua-Taxi water shuttle across the Ottawa River. Once on the Ontario side, you can choose from several pathways. Explore the locks along the Rideau Canal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Ottawa River pathway takes you to the Canada Aviation and Space Museum, where you can view Canada's capital from a whole new angle with a Héli-Tremblant helicopter ride! Back on land, round out your day with a visit to the Casino du Lac-Leamy. Good luck!
