Notre sentier

The Outaouais is best enjoyed in nature. With close to 33,000 km2 of it to explore, you won't run out of space to enjoy it! Spend a morning going through marshes and forests in a national park that is known as birdwatching heaven. You might even catch a glimpse of a turtle calmly crossing the road. After that, spend your afternoon watching bears in their natural environment or clay shooting in a huge 265 km2 reserve. You can even spend the night there in a cottage by your own private lake. Inviting isn't it?

Parc national de Plaisance boasts a rich and diversified ecosystem where wildlife spotting is easy. Bike trails run through it and a boardwalk zigzags through a majestic marsh. As you exit the park, a stop at Centre d'interprétation du patrimoine de Plaisance will teach about that part of the region's fascinating history. Be sure to stop at Délice Champêtre in Montebello, the finest snack bar in the vicinity, before going bear watching in the woods at Kenauk Nature.
