Pride takes centre stage at the Museum, spotlighting the evolution of LGBTQ2+ rights and recognition in Canada. Join Jeremy Dias, founder of the Canadian Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity, for an upbeat and engaging conversation around one of the star artifacts in the Canadian History Hall: the Gay Sweater. Designed to challenge derogatory language, the sweater is made from “100% gay human hair” donated by individuals from the LGBTQ2+ community. Presented by the Canadian Museum of History. - Saturday and Sunday, February 9 and 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
