The La Pêche information station provides maps of Quebec, the Wakefield area and Gatineau Park. During the summer season, staff is on site to welcome and assist visitors. Nearby Fairbairn House features a display case with brochures on tourist attractions in the Gatineau Valley, accommodations, restaurants and outdoor equipment rental centres. A telephone and restrooms are available on site. The station is located near Wakefield’s famous covered bridge and the municipal park, which offers parking, a picnic area, bicycle racks and walking trails.
