Summer is coming and we’re ready to put our hand to the fire that the official activity of the summer season will be CAMPING! Whether you’re used to living in a nylon tent or you want to learn about the joys of this outdoor lifestyle, here are a few suggestions of campsites to visit in the Outaouais this summer! BACKCOUNTRY CAMPING

Camping du Pont Blanc
At Camping du Pont Blanc, 30 of the 40 pitches are dedicated to wilderness camping. A great place to start! You’ll have access to internet, electricity and sanitary facilities at various points on the site.

Parc des Montagnes Noires de Ripon
The Parc des Montagnes Noires campground in Ripon, in the Petite Nation region, offers you a vast outdoor space. Choose an individual campsite without services or opt for the group site with eight campsites without services.

Camping Parc Leslie
Discover the different intimate sites of Leslie Park Campground. These are located in the heart of a beautiful forest. Take advantage of the beautiful beach to relax and the shallow waters to cool off with your family.

CAMPING INSOLITE CARPEDIEM

LA VÉRENDRYE WILDLIFE RESERVE
If you like to be near water, this is the place to be this summer! With its many bodies of water and three campgrounds (Lac Rapide, Lac Savary and Lac de la Vieille), it’s a dream location for fishermen and water sports enthusiasts. It’s also a favourite spot for canoe-camping!
