Summer Dog Walks in the Outaouais

Spend some quality time with the whole family, including your furry friend! The Outaouais region is full of hiking spots that are ideal for energetic humans and dogs alike. Whether you’re looking for woodland paths, scenic lookouts or refreshing rivers, here’s a list of trails to explore together. 

Note: Dogs must be leashed and must stay on the trails.

Oiseau Rock Trail

Where

1 Chemin Schyan, Sheenboro

Good to know

9 km round trip / 3 to 4 hours | Hiking boots are essential for this expedition. The trail can be slippery and treacherous in places. Exercise caution and stay alert during hunting season.

Where

Good to know

Trail 1: 1.4-km loop / 30 minutes | Trail 2: 4.6-km loop / 2 hours | Both trails lead to an observation tower with beautiful views of Blue Sea Lake.
